Access Permission

To enable communication with Siemens S7-1200 series PLCs, the following setting must be configured in your TIA Portal project:

Permit PUT/GET Access 

This allows the PLC to respond to data requests from external devices. Communication cannot be established if this box is not checked.

• Path: Device Configuration > PLC Properties > Protection & Security > Connection Mechanisms.
• Action: Check the box “Permit access with PUT/GET communication from remote partner”.
